Faye & Sam’s Kent Wedding
Faye & Sam married in Kent last September, just as the Summer sun began to fade and the leaves changed colour on the trees.
Like a lot of my other wedding clients, I had previously met Faye through her horse a few years back, so I knew her wedding would be a colourful day with a horse or dog involved somewhere along the way, and I was correct on all my predictions 😉
Faye got prepared at Sam’s mums house that morning surrounded by all her gals. Hair was finished by the ladies at Silhouette Du Barry and Makeup was done by Rhianna Jo MUA. Faye then completed her look with her gorgeous gown from Grace & Lace in Chelmsford and made sure she could walk down the aisle by choosing her white Fred Perry’s as her wedding shoes!
Faye arrived in style on a horse-drawn carriage and met ring-bearer ‘Marley the dog’ dressed up in his smart new collar and lead! He was so so cute and so well behaved too (as most collie’s truly are!)
The pair wed in Sam’s local family church and then jumped back in the horse-drawn carriage for their first journey as husband and wife to the venue. It’s so lovely to be able to spend a few moments alone after you’ve wed and appreciate the enormity of what you’ve just done together <3
At their reception venue, to avoid losing light we all went straight out for photos in the grounds and made the most of the unused fields and surrounding greenery. Luckily for us the weather was on our side, and we got to make the most of some beautiful backdrops and have some fun with the wedding party too!
After our portraits, the couple retreated back to enjoy the remainder of their beautiful day with a fab hog roast and plenty of dancing into the early hours!
Wishing Faye, Sam & Marley all the best as they start their married life together <3
