A Flowery shoot with The Botanical Shed ~ Commercial Photography
Last year I had the absolute pleasure to head the other side of Chelmsford and meet with the lovely Louise from The Botanical Shed. I met and worked with Lou in January last year when she created all the beautiful flowers for a special Valentines styled shoot, and again in May on an elopement in Wales. Being a busy year for Lou, she contacted me to ask about updating photos for her website and getting some content to use on her social media pages before the end of 2018, and I was totally sold when she told me her puppy-dog Lily would be featuring in some of the photos too!
The Botanical Shed was a shop originally set up by Louise in 2017 to sell flowers to passing trade through the village of High Roding, and to help her break into weddings & events. Just two years later, Lou has now secured an even larger unit in order for her to follow her dreams of creating pretty bouquets, centre-pieces and decor purely for weddings & events only and she is well on her way!
Lou says ‘Space had always been issue in the current shop but was the best starting place for me; a shed with lots of character and a low rent.’
It has also helped her to spread the name and she found that like most small businesses, word of mouth is the number one advertisement as the quality of Lou’s flowers and her A* service and personality are spot on! Her search for a new unit has been a long wait but she is pleased she took the time to get to where she is today and find the right place for her business to continue to grow. Here’s to a fab 2019 and I look forward to seeing more of Louise as we work together on more beautiful weddings <3
